I am a chemical engineer with a master's and doctorate in the same field and experience in research, teaching and university orientation. I am a naturalized Brazilian, proficient in Spanish (mother tongue), Portuguese and with advanced knowledge of English.I have worked in the following lines of research:*Biomaterials and Bioenergy**: biomass conversion, lignocellulosic derivatives (crystalline cellulose and lignin), green chemicals, composites reinforced with natural fillers.*Polymers**: Synthesis, functionalization, characterization, blends, composites, scaffolds, their interactions with biomaterials and applications in the medical field and packaging films.* Fossil fuels**: Refining (molecular distillation), characterization, modelling and simulation.I have knowledge of basic and advanced characterization techniques and materials such as chromatography, spectroscopy, rheological analysis, thermal analysis (TGA, DSC), skills in implementing laboratory and pilot assembly for polymer synthesis, extraction of lignocellulosic derivatives from residual biomass and fractionation of natural and synthetic mixtures by alternative operational routes.
