Associate Professor at UNICAMP and Research Fellow with CNPq Productivity Scholarship. At UNICAMP, I teach undergraduate courses in "Sports Sciences" and graduate courses in "Nutrition and Exercise Sciences and Metabolism." In 2023, I was awarded the CNPq Productivity Scholarship. In 2022, I obtained the title of Associate Professor in Human Physiology from UNICAMP. I completed my postdoctoral research at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at UNICAMP (2016), in collaboration with the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. I hold a Ph.D. in Motor Sciences from the Institute of Biosciences at UNESP-Rio Claro (2015). My sandwich Ph.D. was conducted at Harvard Medical School, in collaboration with the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (2014). I earned a Master's degree in Motor Sciences from the Institute of Biosciences at UNESP-Rio Claro (2012) and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from UNESP-Rio Claro (2010). My research focuses on physical exercise for special populations, nutrition applied to exercise, obesity, diabetes, insulin and leptin resistance, as well as physiological and biomolecular assessments in response to physical exercise.
