Rafael Rocha Pacheco

Dr. Pacheco is an Associate Professor and Section Director of Dental Materials at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, where he also serves as the Interim Associate Dean for Digital Technologies. He is the course director for dental materials, teaching dental students, graduate students, and dental hygiene students. In addition, he instructs courses in operative dentistry, fixed prosthodontics, and digital dentistry. Dr. Pacheco holds a D.D.S., an M.Sc. in Dental Materials, and a Ph.D. in Dental Materials. Previously, he was an Associate Professor with tenure and served as Department Chair at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, a position he held since 2015. He is the author or co-author of numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and five book chapters.
