Bachelor in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo (2010). Master degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology),University of São Paulo (2014). Has experience in zoology with emphasis on ornithology, taxonomy, systematics and biogeography. Has a PhD in Zoology from the University of São Paulo (USP), in which she worked with biogeography and comparative phylogeography of the birds from the Pernambuco Center of Endemism, using genomic data (UCEs) and demographic modeling. Currently a postdoctoral researcher in the bird section of the Zoology Museum at the University of São Paulo and work in the areas of molecular biology, phylogeography, phylogenomics, museum genomics, and conservation genetics (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
