Lívia Vieira Depieri

Holds a Pharmacy-Biochemistry degree (2009), Master's degree (2012), and a PhD degree in Science (2016) from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto - University of Sao Paulo. Completed a research internship at the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, USA (2013), and a 7-month as a visiting PhD student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Robert Langer (2013). Currently, she is a TT5 FAPESP fellow at the NanoGeneSkin Laboratory, supervised by Prof. Dr. Maria Vitória Bentley, working on a research project focused on Nanoparticle Production by Microfluidics and evaluation in Organ-on-a-chip. She has experience in the areas of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology, working primarily on the following topics: Nanoparticles, Liquid Crystals, Drug Delivery Systems, Skin, Photodynamic Therapy, siRNA, Gene Therapy, Psoriasis.
