She holds a degree in Medicine from the Universidade Federal de São Paulo (2007- 2012), where she also completed her Medical Residency in Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences (2013-2015), Clinical-Surgical Retina (2016-2019), Professional Master's Degree (2014-2016), PhD (2017-2021), and Post-Doctorate (2022-2024). She also conducted a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the Retina Department at Johns Hopkins University, USA (2017-2018), as a fellow of the partnership between the Lemann Foundation and the Vision Institute. She was awarded the CAPES Thesis Award in the field of Medicine III (2022) and the Young Ophthalmologist Award from the Pan-American Association of Ophthalmology (2023). She has been a member of the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology since 2013, a member of the "Retina Start" Commission of the Brazilian Retina and Vitreous Society since 2020, elected member of the Young Medical Leadership program of the National Academy of Medicine (2022-2027). She has also been a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology since 2016 and the American Society of Retina Specialists since 2023, being one of the 25 selected globally for the Women in Retina Mentoring Program (2024). She conducts research in the areas of robotic surgery, surgical simulation, and strategies for improving the dexterity of ophthalmic surgeons. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
