Rodrigo Galo

Professor at the School of Dentistry of Ribeirão Preto - University of São Paulo (USP) in the area of #8203;#8203;Total Prosthetics (2024). He is currently Associate Professor 1 (MS 5.1) (RDIDP) at the School of Dentistry of Ribeirão Preto (FORP) of the University of São Paulo (USP) in the areas of Total Prosthetics, Removable Partial Prosthetics and Integrated Clinic. He has a degree in Dentistry (2000), Master's degree (2004), Doctorate (2008) in Dentistry (Oral Rehabilitation Area) and Post-Doctorate (2012) in Dentistry (Children's Clinic Area) from the University of São Paulo - School of Dentistry of Ribeirão Preto, with CAPES, CNPq and FAPESP scholarships. He completed his PhD internship at the Department of Materials Engineering at the University of Minho, Guimaraes (Portugal) with a CAPES scholarship (2006-2007). He completed a postdoctoral internship at the Department of Materials Engineering at the University of Minho, Guimaraes (Portugal) with a FAPESP scholarship (2011). He has experience in Dentistry, with an emphasis on Dental Prosthetics and Dental Materials, working mainly on the following topics: titanium, surface treatments, dental implants, electrochemical analysis and restorative materials. He acts as an ad-hoc reviewer for more than several international journals and funding agencies (FAPESP). He maintains international collaborations with the Rush University Medical Center, Chicago-IL (USA) and with Müenster Universtiy, Müenster (Germany).
