Ph.D. in Human Movement Sciences from São Paulo State University (UNESP), Bauru campus (2021). Holds a Masters degree in Motor Sciences from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Rio Claro campus (2015), where he also completed his Bachelors degree in Physical Education (2011). He is currently completing his teaching certification (Licenciatura) in Physical Education, expected to be finished in 2026. He works as an Extracurricular Activities Instructor at Chapel School, a renowned bilingual institution, where he contributes to the development of physical and sports activities for school-age students. He is a member of the Human Movement Research Laboratory (UNESP/Bauru) and the MOVE Research Institute Amsterdam at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where he completed a doctoral internship (sandwich Ph.D.). His scientific work focuses on Alzheimers disease, Parkinsons disease, fatigue, aging, dual-task performance, gait variability, obstacle crossing and avoidance, gait initiation, motor training, and neurodegenerative diseases, with an emphasis on human movement biomechanics. He has been internationally recognized as one of the worlds top 100 researchers in the fields of Parkinsons disease, falls, and dual-task performance, highlighting the global impact and scientific relevance of his research.
