Elisa Silva Ferreira

Researcher at the National Nanotechnology Laboratory of the National Center for Research in Energy and Materials (LNNano/CNPEM) since 2023. She has a bachelor's degree (2014) and a master's degree (2016) in Chemistry from Unicamp. She obtained her PhD (2020) in Sciences in the area of #8203;#8203;Physical Chemistry from Unicamp with a sandwich period at McMaster University in Canada. She did a postdoctoral fellowship at the BioProducts Institute of the University of British Columbia in Canada (2023) in the group of Prof. Emily Cranston. She has experience in the development of cellulose foams and cryogels, use of plant biomass, cellulose solubilization, paper and cellulose pulp applications, nanocelluloses, adhesives and composites.
