Luiz Vicente Ribeiro Ferreira da Silva Filho

He holds a degree in Medicine from the University of São Paulo (1990), a Master's degree in Medicine (Pediatrics) from the University of São Paulo (1998), and a Ph.D. in Medicine (Pediatrics) from the University of São Paulo (2002). Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at FMUSP and the Coordinator of the Pulmonology Unit at the Instituto da Criança HCFMUSP. He works as a pediatric pulmonologist at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. He has experience in the fields of Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology, with a focus on the following areas: cystic fibrosis, respiratory infections, interstitial lung diseases, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, and asthma. A founding member of the Brazilian Cystic Fibrosis Study Group (GBEFC), he has been the executive coordinator of the Brazilian Cystic Fibrosis Registry since 2009. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
