Birthplace: Brazil

Bachelor in Molecular Science (2009) and also in Chemistry (2015) from University of São Paulo. PhD in Science at the Institute of Chemistry from University of São Paulo (2015). Currently, she is a researcher at the Radiology Department of FMUSP and the Laboratory of Supramolecular Chemistry and Nanotechnology (LQSN) of the Institute of Chemistry of USP, whose project aims at the development of a new magnetic resonance (MRI) contrast agent based on nanoparticles. The first post-doctoral study was carried out in partnership with the Cancer Institute of the State of São Paulo (ICESP), with emphasis on the theranostics of melanoma and the second with a project on technological innovation in partnership with companies. She has experience in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology, mainly working in interdisciplinary areas such as nanomedicine, biochemistry and physical chemistry; development and characterization of nanobiomaterials aiming technological applications; investigation of nanoparticle-biomolecule interaction for applications at diagnosis and treatment of cancer; studies of interaction between nanostructures and biological systems; also in vitro and in vivo nanomaterials toxicity.
