Vahíd holds a degree in Production Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2011). After two years working in strategic consulting with Monitor Group, he worked as a project manager at FUNDAEC (Fundación para la Enseñanza y Aplicación de la Ciencia) between 2013 and 2015, giving special attention to strengthening local economies. Between 2016 and 2018, he did his master's degree in Economic Development with an emphasis on Agricultural Economics and Environment at the Unicamp Institute of Economics, giving special attention to issues related to territorial development. Since 2019, he has join the team of researchers of Instituto Veredas and he is charge of the area of productive inclusion and in 2021 he started his PhD at UFABC's doctoral program in Territorial Planning and Management.
