Maria Angelica Miglino is a professor at the Department of Surgery at FMVZ USP. She received her PhD in 1985 from PPG Functional Anatomy: Structure and Ultrastructure ICB/USP. She was a member of the Fapesp and CNPq Area Committee. In addition, to being the Vice-Coordinator and Area Coordinator (Veterinary Medicine) of Capes. She is a member of the Royal Academy of Veterinary Sciences of Spain. Member of the Brazilian Society of Anatomy, World Association of Veterinary Anatomists, and of the American Society of Anatomy. She receivedawards (Loke Award for Researchers in Early Care, IFPA; EPG Award Peter Kaufmann New Investigator; Capes de Thesis Award) and most recently the USP-Vida 2020 Award. She is the research director of the INCT Cell Therapy in Cancer). Collaborator of CEPID, TechnologyTransfer Project and Cell Therapy Center. She works in the Veterinary Medicine area, Morphological Sciences, Developmental Biology with emphasis on Placenta and Placentation, Cell Therapy in Animal Models, and Tissue Engineering, developing multidisciplinary technological projects aimed the regeneration of organs and tissues.
