Graduated in Dentistry from the School of Dentistry of Ribeirão Preto (FORP) University of São Paulo (USP). In the basic sciences, he conducted research in Pain and Behavioral Physiology, with emphasis on Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD), supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). He was an undergraduate intern at the Specialized Center for Oral Diagnosis (CAEDO), at FORP-USP. Between 2011 and 2012, he participated in an interinstitutional exchange program between Brazil and the United Kingdom, working at the University of Sheffield (Sheffield, UK), where he engaged in both clinical care and laboratory research in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology.
