Maurício Guerreiro Martinho dos Santos

Bachelor (BSc) in Geology at the University of São Paulo. Specialized in Petroleum Geology at Petrobras. MSc in Geology at the University of São Paulo. PhD in Geology at the University of São Paulo. Post-doc research associate at UNESP. Member of the Fluvial Research Group from the University of Leeds (UK). Interest areas: fluvial geology, depositional architecture, facies analysis, prevegetation fluvial systems, stratigraphy, structural geology, palaeostress analysis, GIS and remote sensing. Maurício is especially interested in prevegetation fluvial systems and in the evolution of such systems throughout the early Palaeozoic.
