Permanent researcher at the Pagu Gender Studies Center and professor in the Graduate Programs in Social Sciences and Social Anthropology at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). An anthropologist and feminist, she earned her Ph.D. in Social Anthropology from UNICAMP (20102015) and was a visiting researcher at the University of Bologna, Italy (2022), supported by a Coimbra Group scholarship.Her research and supervision focus on topics such as the State and its margins, love and networks of affection, prisons and carceral institutions, governmentality, transnationalities, borders, and markets. She is the editor-in-chief of Cadernos Pagu and the author of About Cases and Marriages: Affections and Loves Across Female Prisons in São Paulo and Barcelona, a book based on her doctoral thesis, which received an Honorable Mention in the 2016 ANPOCS Thesis and Dissertation Competition.Currently, she coordinates the FAPESP-funded project Expulsions: Compulsory Measures and Imprisonment of Foreigners in an Intersectional and Comparative Perspective.Email: natcpad@unicamp.br (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
