In this research project, visiting professor prof. Miguel Angel Javaloyes (a world expert in the field of Finsler Geometry) and prof. Marcos Alexandrino (expert in the topic Singular Riemannian foliations) are proposing to start building and studying a new theory of metric foliation (Zermelo foliation) on Finsler space time, thus continuing a long-standing academic collaboration.
