I have a bachelor's degree (2001) and a master's degree (2002) in Physics from the University of Brasilia, a master's degree (2004) and a Ph.D. (2008) in Physics from the University of Chicago. I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pennsylvania (2008-2010) and at the University of Sao Paulo (2010-2011). I am currently a Professor at the Physics Institute of the University of Sao Paulo, a member of the Laboratorio Interinstitucional de e-Astronomia (LIneA) and a member of the Dark Energy Survey (DES) and the Vera Rubin's Observatory Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST). I was previously a member of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) (2015-2019) and an affiliated member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC) (2015-2020). I work on Astrophysics and Cosmology, with focus on Galaxy Clusters, Large-Scale Structure, Photometric Redshifts, Gravitational Lensing, Statistical Methods, Modified Gravity, N-body Simulations.
