Afonso Celso Pinto Nazário

Graduated in Medicine from EPM-UNIFESP (1983), Medical Residency in Toco-Gynecology from EPM-UNIFESP (1987). Master's degree in Medicine (Gynecology) from the Federal University of São Paulo (1989), Doctorate in Medicine (Gynecology) from the Federal University of São Paulo (1992) and Professorship from the Federal University of São Paulo (2002). He is currently Full Professor and Head of the Discipline of Mastology at the Paulista School of Medicine at the Federal University of São Paulo, Vice-Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Gynecology at EPM-UNIFESP and Member of the Oncology Reference Committee of the State of São Paulo. Full Member of the National Academy of Mastology (chair number 15). He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Medicine, with an emphasis on Mastology, working mainly on the following topics: Breast Cancer, Diagnosis in Mastology, Benign Breast Diseases, Effect of endogenous and exogenous sexual steroids on the cellular kinetics of normal breast and fibroadenoma.
