Lucas da Silva Tasquetto is a professor at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Program in International Relations at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC). He is the coordinator of the working group on trade, business and investments of the Jean Monnet Module, hosted by the Brazil-European Union Institute of FECAP, and of the working group on international trade of the Observatory of Foreign Policy and the International Insertion of Brazil (OPEB), at UFABC. He holds a PhD in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations of the University of São Paulo (USP), with a sandwich scholarship at Kings College London (England). He carried out postdoctoral studies at the Postgraduate Program in Law at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). He holds a master's degree in Law from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and a degree in Law from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). He was professor of the International Relations course at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). He was a researcher at the Center for Global Law at the Fundação Getulio Vargas Law School (FGV DIREITO SP) and at the Center for Global Trade and Investment at the São Paulo School of Economics at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV / EESP). His work focuses mainly on Public International Law, Human Rights and International Trade, currently on topics around the architecture of the digital economy: digital trade, digital rights and the regulation of new technologies. He has worked with civil society organizations to monitor international negotiations and promote a work agenda at the interface between international trade and digital rights.
