Research fellows of CNPq Degree in Animal Science from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRRJ (1987)Master's degree in Conservation and Resource Management from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP (2001) PhD in Biological Sciences (Zoology), also from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP (2004). Permanent professor in the MsC Program in Aquaculture and Fisheries of the Fisheries Institute and the Metropolitan University of Santos in the MsC Program in Veterinary Medicine in the Coastal Environment. Experience in the area of Fisheries Resources and Fisheries Engineering, with an emphasis on aquaculture, working mainly on the following topics: mariculture, socioeconomics applied to fishing and aquaculture and economic evaluations of aquaculture projects. Published 78 scientific articles in national and international journalsCoordinated 12 FAPESP research grants and has one in progress. Institutional and course evaluator for INEP/MEC since 2004.
