Guilherme Augusto Sousa Alcântara

Guilherme graduated in medicine in 2013 by Ribeirão Preto Medical School of University of São Paulo and initiated a medical residency program in Neurosurgery at Clinics Hospital of Ribeirão Preto Medical School of University of São Paulo, currently attending in the fifth year of specialization. He recived the São Paulo Research Fundation?s (FAPESP) research scholarship during graduation for three consecutive years (2011, 2012 and 2013). He presented two lines of research at that moment, the first on the issue of sensitivity to central and peripheral glucocorticoids in Metabolic Syndrome and Cushing's Syndrome, and the second on the important aspects in the constitution of a good doctor-patient relationship.
