Raphael F. de Souza obtained his DDS from São Paulo State University - Araraquara Dental School (2000), MSc and PhD in Oral Rehabilitation from Araraquara Dental School (2003 and 2005). He is currently an associate professor at McGill University - Faculty of Dentistry (Montreal, Canada). He has been involved with research in Dental Clinics, and his major interests comprise clinical studies about the treatment of edentulism by means of conventional and implant-retained prosthodontics.
