Graduated in Psychology in 1975 at the Catholic University of São Paulo, Master degree in 1977 at the University of Manitoba (Canada) and Doctoral degree at the Catholic University of São Paulo and research fellowship at the Behavior Analysis department at University of North Texas. Full professor at the Catholic University of São Paulo and faculty member of the Graduate Program in Experimental Psychology: Behavior analysis. Member of the editorial boards of Temas em Psicologia (Themes in Psychology) e Revista Brasileira de Análise do Comportamento (Brazilian Journal of Behavior Analysis). Research interests: verbal behavior and the selection of cultures and cultural practices from a behavioral analytical perspective and is presently the Rector of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo.
