Graduated in Mathematics from the University of São Paulo (1987), MA in Mathematics Teaching (1994), a PhD in Education (Educational Psychology) (2003), both from PUC-SP and Post-Doctorate on the Postdoctoral Program in Mathematics Education, PUC/Rio de Janeiro (2008). Professor on the Post-Graduate Mathematics Education Program at PUC-SP, supervising students in master's and doctoral research into inclusive education, professional development and teacher training in collaborative contexts. Coordinated a subproject in the Capes Teaching Learning Program (PIBID) for future teachers of Mathematics and Physics. Coordinated a project approved in the Capes Education Observatory Program (OBEDUC) on the challenges for inclusive education in teacher training for mathematics teachers.
