Graduated in Economics (1980) and Social Sciences (1981) at the University of São Paulo, PhD in Economic Theory at the University of Campinas (1990) and Post-Doc (1999) project at the Institute of Advanced Studies of the University of São Paulo. Research interests are audiovisual interfaces and business models, information and communication technologies, digital emancipation and social innovation, iconomics as a new paradigm. Created the Games Production undergraduate course at the Department of Film, Radio and TV, School of Communication and Arts, University of São Paulo (2015). President, Games for Change Latin America, since 2010. Regular news anchor and commentator on Brazilian economy and economic policies, global finance and geopolitics, creative economy and internet studies. Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the Arts and Humanities Research Institute, Department od Digital Humanities, Kings College, London.
