Pediatrician in HU-USP in 1985, 1986-1988 leave of absence for two years for training in pediatric nephrology as "clinical fellow at the University of California at Los Angeles, returning to HU-USP (July 1988) until 1990.In September 1990 initiated activities at the Pediatric Nephrology Unit I.Criança HCFMUSP . Head of this Unit from 1992 until now, during this period the Unit was structured as required for the full development of the subspecialty with creation and development of clinical protocols of assistance and clinical research, including: humanized pediatric percutaneous renal biopsy under ultrasound guidance in 'real time'; diagnosis and management of pediatric hypertension, diagnosis and management of neurogenic voiding dysfunction and neurogenic not, installation, training of health staff and clinical management in pediatric peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis, renal transplantation, diagnosis and clinical management of rare renal diseases. Deputy supervisor of medical residency program of the Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo from 2005 to 2008, since 2009 Supervisor of the program. Since 2011, Medical Residency Commisision (Coreme) Vice Coordinator of the Faculty of Medicine of the USP. As of July 2011,acting as executive coordinator for development of the program for Rare Diseases, Department of Pediatrics, FMUSP Elected in 2011, Secretary General of the Latin American Association of Pediatric Nephrology, a regional branch of the International Association of Pediatric Nephrology, with a mandate until 2014, being re-elected until 2017 (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
