Physician graduated from São Paulo University Medical School in 1992. Post graduation (doctorate) in Pulmonology at São Paulo University (part of the thesis was developed at Vanderbilt University and St.Thomas Hospital Nashville Tennessee) (1999). Has worked at São Paulo University medical School (At the Clinics Hospital and heart institute), as well as at Pharmaceutical industry as Senior Medical Manager at Medical Affairs department (Biosintetica/Ache Laboratórios Farmacêuticos SA). Worked providing support for Marketing, regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, R&D and clinical research. Also has experience with ?in vitro? research, research involving animal models as well as management experience. In 2005, took the ?adaptive design? course, promoted by IDC in Princeton NJ, USA. Since that course has been using this methodology in clinical trials and has been teaching this methodology in post-graduate course. Currently works as Medical Director at Icon Clinical Research (Safety, medical writer and medical management for Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, US and Canada) and acts as medical global leader at respiratory Icon center of excelence in respiratoy diseases . Also works as Post graduation professor at UNISA, is still practicing medicine at private office and is also a scientific referee for ?Clinics Medical Journal?; "Jornal Brasileiro de Pneumologia" and also develop Scientific material for pharmaceutical marketing.
