Luiza (Pinheiro) Hubinger Stauffer - Biomedical scientist graduate from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP/Botucatu Campus (2011), scientific initiation and master's scholarship holder from FAPESP and CNPq/PIBITI, with a degree in Biology (2025). She holds a PhD and a Master's degree in General and Applied Biology, in the area of #8203;#8203;Biology of Parasites and Microorganisms (2018; IBB - Unesp/Botucatu), with an emphasis on molecular determinants of antimicrobial resistance, virulence and genetic analysis in coagulase-negative Staphylococcus. She is currently an Academic Support Assistant IV, at the Electron Microscopy Center of the Institute of Biosciences (UNESP - Botucatu). She also works as a Collaborating Professor in the Postgraduate Program in Tropical Diseases at the School of Medicine of Botucatu (UNESP). She worked for 11 years as a Biomedical Scientist at the Molecular Biology Laboratory of the Lauro de Souza Lima Institute, Bauru, in research and diagnosis in the health area. She recently worked as a Higher Education Professor at FATEC Bauru (2023-2025), in the Undergraduate Course in Technology in Biomedical Systems, in the Disciplines of Basic Microbiology, Cellular Biology, Human Physiology and Fundamentals of Immunology.
