Graduated in Physiotherapy (1983, UFSCar) and Nutrition (2024, UCS), master's degree in Special Education (1989, UFSCar), PhD in Experimental Psychology (1999, IP-USP), specialization in Physiotherapeutic Intervention in Muscular Diseases (2017, UNIFESP) and in Eating Behavior (2022/3, IPGS). She is a professor of the Physiotherapy Course at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo and a master's and doctoral advisor for the Postgraduate Program in Rehabilitation Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine of USP. She coordinates the Physiotherapy and Behavior Laboratory - FMUSP. She has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Physiotherapy, with an emphasis on the development of functional assessment tests and health promotion (teaching in the health area, massage therapy, hydrotherapy, integrative health, self-care and development of teaching materials). She has published more than a hundred articles, is co-author of the books "How and why to massage the baby", "Foot massage", "Self-assessment and cervical self-care program", "Manual for assessing the skin of the finger pulp by dermoscopy and photography" and "Manual for self-massage for relaxation", in addition to having written as author and co-author of several articles and chapters of national and international books.
