Alexandra Bujokas de Siqueira holds a degree in Journalism from the São Paulo State University (UNESP) (1991-1994), pursued a master's degree in Education (1995-1998), and completed her doctoral studies in School Education (2001-2005) at the same institution. She undertook a sandwich doctoral program (2004) and a postdoctoral fellowship (2006-2007) at The Open University in England. She served as a visiting researcher at the UCL Knowledge Lab of the Institute of Education at University College London (2011-2012). She contributes to the Postgraduate Program in Educational Sciences at the Higher Institute of Educational Sciences (ISCED) in Sumbe, Angola. Since 2009, she has been a faculty member at the Federal University of the Triângulo Mineiro, where she teaches media education courses for History, Geography, Language, and Social Service programs. She is a permanent lecturer in the Postgraduate Program in Education and leads the research group "Educating Witches: education, media, and feminisms". She was a grantee of the Minas Gerais Researcher Program from Fapemig (2014-2016) and currently develops research projects in Media Education, Open Education, Feminist Pedagogy, and Artificial Intelligence in Education.
