Rosangela Simão Bianchini

I am graduate at Biologia from Universidade de São Paulo (1988), master's at Botany (1991) and Ph.D. (1998) at Botany from Universidade de São Paulo. Currently works as scientific researcher at the Environmental Research Institute, advisor and area coordinator in the Graduate Program in Plant Biodiversity and Environment. I got productivity scholarship at the CNPq between 2017-2020. I served as Director of the Vascular Plants Research Center between 2015 and 2021. Sub-curator of some families at Herbarium SP. Expertise in Botany, focusing on Phanerogam Taxonomy, acting mainly on the following subjects: Convolvulaceae, Asteraceae, Rosaceae, ruderal plants, invasive exotic species, endangered species, floristics, Atlantic Forest and Cerrado vegetation.
