"Obtained the title of Associate Professor in the Department of Cardio-Pneumology, Cardiology Discipline, from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo in January 2007. Has been acting as an assistant physician at the Hypertension Unit of INCOR-FMUSP since 1992, where she coordinates the Clinical Investigation Laboratory of the Hypertension Unit. Served as a collaborating professor in the Department of Cardiopneumology at FMUSP for over 10 years. Is a researcher and faculty member of the Medicine course at the University of July 9 since 2010, working in the curricular units of Scientific, Technological Knowledge and Innovation in Health, Clinical Medicine and its Therapeutic Specialties, and Propaedeutics, in addition to guiding students in scientific initiation. Has areas of interest in clinical and basic research: arterial hypertension, cardiovascular reflex control, endothelial function, and inflammation. Maintains research projects in regular partnership with Professors Maria Claudia Irigoyen, Katia de Angelis, Madson Q Almeida, Alln K Sales, and Valentin Pavlov, with several other national and international researchers. Acts in translational research developing studies in the area of cardiovascular risk factors, neuroimmunomodulation, inflammation, and cardiovascular remodeling. Scholarship holder PQ 1D."
