Associate Professor 3 of Methodology and Theory of History at the University of São Paulo (2003). He is a full professor at USP (2017), has a post-doctorate from Université Paris-Ouest Nanterre (2015-2016) and a PhD in Social History from the University of São Paulo (1997). He holds a bachelor's degree (1985) and a master's degree (1989) in History from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. Editor of the History Magazine (2013-2017) and member of the Editorial Board (2009-2023). Coordinator of the Laboratory of History and Sound Culture (USP), of the CNPq Research Group Between Memory and History of Music, and member of the Interdisciplinary Center for Studies on Football and Ludic Modalities (Ludens-USP) and the Laboratory for Studies of Sound and Music (LMS-Unicamp). He conducts research on the History of Brazilian Culture, with an emphasis on sound culture and the production and listening of sounds. He also researches aspects of urban popular cultures, especially in the first half of the 20th century. He is a CNPq 1 CA-AC researcher. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
