Full Professor in the Infrastructure and Environment Department of the School of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Urbanism at UNICAMP. PhD in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo (1999). Masters in Limnology from the University of Stirling in partnership with the Institute of Terrestrial Ecology (1980). Specialisation in Limnology and Dam Management at the University of São Paulo (1987).
