In this project we study the exact boundary controllability for a system wave equations coupled by lower order terms. It is intended to build the measure and integral of Lebesgue in the Euclidean space and make several applications in order to prepare the student to learn advanced topics in Functional Analysis and Partial Differential Equations.
The student will study the Lebesgue Integral, notions of distribuitions and Sobolev Spaces on the real line. He will use such notions to study the variational formulation of boundary value problems for some ordinary differential equations of second order.
Study the foundations of the real number system including its completeness. Also study continuity of real functions and the integral of Riemann and Riemann-Stieltjes. (AU)
