It has degree in Social Sciences from the Catholic University of São Paulo (1968), Master of Social Sciences from FFLCH the University of São Paulo (1972), PhD in Communication Sciences from the University of São Paulo (1986) and Post-doctorate by the Université Stendhal Grenoble, France (1992-1993) .Professor and researcher with the Departments of Communication and Arts (1978-1990) and Radio and Television Cinema (1990-2014) worked together to undergraduate courses in the disciplines Theory communication and Research Methodology. Professor at the University of São Paulo is since 2013 Senior Lecturer Titular, the Graduate Program Coordinator of Media and Audiovisual Process at the University of São Paulo 2013/2015. He was Director of the School of Communication and Arts of USP between 2009-2012. Creator and the Editor of the Journal New Perspectives (1998-2012) and co-editor until 2013. Scholarship of Research Productivity (1B) CNPQ (1985- 2010). Leader CNPQ Study Group on Reception Practices to media products. He has published works of his authorship and / or Arranged. He has experience in graduate teaching and research in the areas of Sociocultural Theories Audiovisual, with emphasis on Cultural Practices Audiovisual, Social Policy and Media, Reception media and public space.
