Associate Professor of the Department of Physiotherapy at the Federal University of São Carlos. Graduated in Physiotherapy from the Federal University of São Carlos (1994). Completed her master's degree in 1999 and her doctorate in 2001 in the area of #8203;#8203;Physiological Sciences from the Federal University of São Carlos. Post-doctorate in Clinical Medicine/Pulmonology at the University of São Paulo/School of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto (2014-2016). Accredited professor in the Strictu Sensu Postgraduate Program in Physiotherapy, she has been supervising Master's and Doctorate programs in the research line Assessment and Intervention Processes in Cardiovascular and Respiratory Physiotherapy since 2005. She was Coordinator of the Undergraduate Course in Physiotherapy at UFSCar (2018-2020). Member of the Human Ethics Committee of the Federal University of São Carlos since 2015. Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Physiotherapy - PPGFT / UFSCar (2021-2023). Member of the European Respiratory Society (ERS) and ASSOBRAFIR member. Member of the Steering Committee of the 'Brazilian Guideline for Physiotherapy in Pulmonary Rehabilitation' of ASSOBRAFIR (2023-2024). She has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;#8203;#8203;Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy, working mainly in the area of #8203;#8203;#8203;#8203;Pulmonary Rehabilitation, investigation of the functional limitations of chronic lung disease patients (COPD, Asthma, Pulmonary Fibrosis) and post COVID-19, investigation of the responses of functional tests in different populations and the effects of aerobic and resistance physical training associated or not with behavior change in relation to physical exercise and sedentary behavior in chronic lung disease.
