Maria Celia Cervi

Graduation in Medicine (1978), Master in Medicine (1986) and Doctorate in Child Health (1992) at the University of São Paulo at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto/SP. Assistant Professor at the Department of Childcare and Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo. Practice in Medicine, with an emphasis on Infectious Diseases in the Pediatrics area, works and researches topics on systemic infections from perinatal to adolescents such as HIV, from clinical and therapeutic studies, as well as the repercussions; multiprofessional care and national and international multicenter survival studies. Emphasis on respiratory and meningeal, viral and bacterial syndromes, from diagnosis and treatment protocols. Investigations of the inflammatory and immune response in infection and in response to vaccines and immunobiologicals.
