Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP). Campus de São Paulo. Núcleo de Computação Científica (NCC)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Holds a BA from the Institute of Physics - Univ. São Paulo (1978), MSc in Physics from the Institute of Theoretical Physics - UNESP (1982) and PhD in Physics from the Institute of Physics - Univ. St. Paul (1987). She did her Postdoctoral Fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (1987-1989). She made scientific visits to Fermi National Laboratory and Brookahaven National Laboratory (2000-2002). Since 1991, she holds a researcher position at the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho. She has experience in Physics, with emphasis on High Energy Heavy Ion Collisions, having worked mainly on the following subjects: phenomenology of particles produced in high energy collisions(RHIC and LHC), correlations between identical particles (femtoscopy), correlations between bosonic and fermionic compressed states. Since 2008, she has also been part of the CERN CMS Collaboration, where she conducts research in experimental physics with the Heavy Ions and QCD groups. In these experimental measurements, correlations of particles produced in proton-proton (pp), lead-lead (PbPb) and proton-lead (pPb) collisions at LHC energies are analyzed. At CMS, she has been actively participating in the Heavy Ion Publication Committee since 2014, being co-chair of this committee since September 2017. Se has also been organizing with colleagues from SPRACE (São Paulo Research and Analysis Center), at Unesp, since 2008, outreach events (International MasterClasses, coordinated by the International Particle Physics Outreach Group, related to CERN). Since 2017, she has been promoting at SPRACE one of these international events especially dedicated to high school girls, the Female MasterClass, celebrating the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, chosen by the UN as February 11th. She is a member of the Tecno-Scientific Committee (CTC) of the National Network of High Energy Physics -- RENAFAE ((2018- ). She is a member of the CNPq Advisoty Committee of Physics and Astronomy (2022- ). ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3071-0559. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
