Graduated in Full Mechanical Engineering (1988) from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Master in Materials Engineering (1992, Thermal Turbomachines) from Faculty of Chemical Engineering of Lorena (FAENQUIL), now EEL/USP Lorena School of Engineering/ University of São Paulo and PhD in Mechanical Engineering (1999, Heat Storage) by UNICAMP State University of Campinas. I am currently Professor at Lorena School of Engineering/ University of São Paulo. In area of teaching taught subjects such as Transport Phenomena, Mechanics, Physics and Environmental Pollution since 1991, having contributed to the training of more than 10.000 Engineers. In these more than 30 years of teaching, I also acted unofficially in the co-supervision of some Master's students. I was Vice-Coordinator of the 3rd and 4rd Lato Sensu Postgraduate Courses in Mathematics. I held the position of Head of the Basic Department for five years. I participated in several committees related to administration and graduation. Provided academic support to the analysis of some problems related to industries. I have experience in the area of Thermal Engineering, working mainly on the following topics: numerical simulation of the dispersion of pollutants in the atmosphere, CFD code CFD and finite volume method.
