Holds a bachelor's degree (1999), master's degree (2006), and doctorate (2010) in Nursing from the Ribeirão Preto School of Nursing at the University of São Paulo (EERP-USP). After graduation, worked as the nurse coordinator of the Integrated Liver Transplant Group at the Clinics Hospital of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP-USP) until 2004. From 2004 to 2019, served as a specialist nurse in the EERP-USP laboratory and as the tutor-nurse of the Organ and Tissue Transplant League (2009-2019). Since January 2020, has been a faculty member at EERP-USP and asumed the Tutorship of the Organ and Tissue Transplant League. Currently accredited in the Graduate Program in Fundamental Nursing (PPGEF-EERP-USP), rated 7 by CAPES (2021 - Present), and a researcher in the Evidence-Based Practice in Health Research Group (EERP-USP). Also collaborates with the SIG Transplants of the Brazilian University Telemedicine Network (RUTE). Possesses solid experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing, with a focus on the care of adults with acute and chronic-degenerative diseases. Areas of expertise include liver transplantation, solid organ transplantation, organ donation, perioperative nursing, evidence-based practice, health education, and review methodologies. An active member of the International Transplant Nurses Society (ITNS) since 2009, currently serving on its Board of Directors (2025-2026 term). Also served as a member of the Nursing in Transplants Department of the Brazilian Association of Organ Transplantation (ABTO) during the 2022-2023 term and has been a member of ABTO since 2001. Scientific production indexed on ORCID (0000-0003-3349-2075) and Web of Science Researcher ID (B-2030-2010).
