I'm an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology of the Ribeirao Preto Medical School, University of Sao Paulo. Here, I have been funded through a Sao Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) Young Investigator Grant to study the impact of stress during adolescence and adulthood on the dopamine system and the risk for psychiatry disorders. I received a B.S. in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2008) before completing a Master (2011) and a PhD (2015) in Pharmacology at the Ribeirao Preto Medical School. In addition, I did a postdoctoral training in the lab of Dr. Anthony Grace at the University of Pittsburgh (2015-2018) working on the (des)regulation of the dopamine system using in vivo electrophysiology.
