She holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Salamanca, Spain (2004), a master's degree in Petroleum Technology from Rey Juan Carlos University, Spain (2007), and a Ph.D. with European mention in Chemical Engineering, Environment, and Materials from Rey Juan Carlos University, Spain (2010). She was a FAPESP (2011-2014) and CNPq (2014) postdoctoral fellow, as well as a FAPESPs Young Researcher (2015-2019) in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of São Paulo. Currently, she is Associate Professor at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (Spain). She has expertise in the field of Thermodynamics, with a focus on studying the solid-liquid equilibrium of ethyl ester mixtures present in biodiesel, the formation and dissociation of gas hydrates through high-pressure calorimetry, and the prevention of paraffinic deposit formation in oil pipelines.
