Is a professor in the History Department and a member of the Graduate Program in History at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC/SP). Currently, he is the coordinator of the PPGH. He is also professor on the Professional Master's Degree in Teaching Practices in Primary Education at the Metropolitan University of Santos (UNIMES). Grants for Productivity in Research - CNPq-2 (PUC/SP), with the project entitled Gilberto Freyre and the Press in the Post-War Period: the People, Things and Animals column in the magazine O Cruzeiro (1948-1967). He completed post-doctoral studies at the History Department of UFF (2023-2024), USP (2011-2012) and King's College London (2008-2009). He was Visiting Associate Professor in the Department of Luso-Brazilian Studies at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (2004-2007). He holds a PhD in History from UNICAMP (2005), an MA in Social History from PUC-SP (2000) and a BA in History from UFPR (1997). Areas of expertise: Intellectual history, Brazilian historiography, history of Brazil, history and teaching. He is the author of books such as Sílvio Romero Hermeneuta do Brasil (São Paulo: Annablume, 2005) and Capítulos de História Intelectual: racismos, identidades e alteridades na reflexão sobre o Brasil (São Paulo: Alameda, 2019), as well as several articles published in Brazil and abroad. He is the leader of the "Pensamento Brasileiro - Arte, Literatura, História, Ciências Sociais" (CNPq - PUC/SP) research group. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
