Eduardo Fernandes Nunes

In 2004, he graduated as a Telecommunications Engineer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas. In 2008, he graduated with a master's degree from the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering at the State University of Campinas. In 2015, he received his doctorate from the same Faculty of Agricultural Engineering at the State University of Campinas.From 2004 to 2012 he worked at Expertise Engenharia working on research projects in the area of #8203;#8203;substation automation and power systems. measuring and managing the quality of electrical energy.From 2012 to 2024 he worked at R4F Tecnologia em Telecomunicações Ltda, Campinas-SP, Brazil, where he developed research projects in the area of #8203;#8203;wireless sensor networks for agriculture.From 2016 to 2024 he was a full professor at the Faculdade Metropolitana de Campinas (METROCAMP) in the disciplines of Electrical Machines and Drives, Electrical Measurements and Instrumentation, Analog Electronics, Industrial Communication Networks, Computer Networks, Communications Systems, Telecommunications Systems, project Embedded Systems, Electrical Circuits and Electrical Circuit Analysis. At this same institution, he served as internship coordinator for the Electrical Engineering course. Since August 2024, he has been a PhD Professor at the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), in the area of #8203;#8203;Digital Agriculture in the disciplines of Internet of Things in Agriculture, Introduction to Data Mining: Concepts and Applications in Agriculture, Fundamentals in Robotics in Agriculture, Basic Instrumentation, Process Automation and Technology in Precision Agriculture.The research areas in Digital Agriculture are: digital models and digital twins of plant production systems, internet of things applied to agriculture, precision horticulture and data science applied to agriculture.
