Criminal Computer Forensics Expert of the Brazilian Federal Police since 2006 and author of the book "Desvendando a Computação Forense (Unraveling Computer Forensics)", one of the pioneering national works on the subject, and one of the contributing authors of the book "Tratado de Computação Forense (Forensic Computing Treaty)", Pedro Monteiro da Silva Eleutério is a Computer Engineer at the Federal University of Sao Carlos (UFSCar), Brazil. He obtained his Masters degree in Computer Science at the University of Sao Paulo (USP), Brazil. He is also the author of the NuDetective Forensic Tool, which is used to quickly find child pornographic files at crime scenes. He has experience in Computer Science, with emphasis on Computer Forensics. He also conducts research and has several scientific articles published in Forensic Computing, having received, among others, the awards "First and Third Destaque Forense" awarded by the Brazilian Society of Forensic Science (SBCF), "Travel Award Winner" of the International Association of Forensic Sciences - IAFS 2014 and "Best Paper Award" granted at the 5th ICoFCS (International Conference of Forensic Computer Science) and in DFRWS Euro 2023. Pedro has some international forensic certifications like Cellebrite Advanced Smartphone Analysis (CASA), Cellebrite In-System Programming (CISP) and Cellebrite Chip-Off Forensics (CCOF), and two international certifications about cryptocurrencies investigation: "Investigating Cryptocurrencies Foundation Course" e "TRM Advanced Crypto Investigator (TRM-ACI)".
