Alexandro Dantas Trindade

Graduated (1995) and PhD (2004) in Social Sciences from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He completed specialization in Professional Training at the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP) in 2003, and held a senior internship at Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 2015, with funding from CAPES (process BEX 1451 / 14-6). He is currently Associate Professor III of the Federal University of Paraná, acting in the undergraduate course in Social Sciences, in the Postgraduate Program in Sociology, along with the research line Production and Circulation of Brazilian Social Thought, and in the Professional Master Program in Sociology. in National Network. He coordinated the Institutional Program of Teaching Initiation Scholarships (PIBID) of Social Sciences of UFPR, between 2010 and 2014 and 2016 and 2018. He is leader of the research group CNPq "Social thinking, intellectuals and circulation of ideas", of UFPR. Has experience and articles published in the area of #8203;#8203;Sociology, with emphasis on Sociological Theory and Brazilian Social Thought, acting on the following subjects: Social Thinking in Brazil-Empire; Intellectuals and Politics in Brazil; Brazilian Cinematographic Thought; Production and Circulation of Ideas; Brazilian and Portuguese intellectuals and Sociology of Knowledge. Organized the UFPR National Sociology Politics Seminar in 2011, 2012 and 2014, and was a member of the Organizing Committee of the XV Brazilian Sociology Congress in 2011.
