Regiane Nitsch Bressan

CNPq Research Productivity Fellow - Level 2. Associate Professor at the School of Politics, Economics, and Business (EPPEN) at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), in the International Relations course. Professor in the San Tiago Dantas Graduate Program in International Relations (UNESP, UNICAMP, and PUC-SP). Specialist in Latin American Integration, she holds a Ph.D. (2012) and a Master's degree (2008) from the Latin American Integration Graduate Program at the University of São Paulo. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco (2004).Regiane coordinates the research project "Regionalism, Brazilian Foreign Policy, and Domestic Actors: local and sectoral impacts of the new dynamics of regional and interregional relations" (CNPQ: 420112/2023-5).She is a researcher at the Observatory of Regionalism (ODR) and a member of several research networks, including the Network for Research in Foreign Policy and Regionalism (REPRI), the Reflection Group on Integration and Development in Latin America and Europe (GRIDALE), the Mercosur University Forum (FOMERCO), the Regional Coordinator for Economic and Social Research (CRIES), and the Brazilian Network of Latin American and Caribbean Researchers (Rede BLAC).She participates as a researcher in the Jean Monnet Module DDIS - Democracy, Development, Integration, and Sustainability: European Union and Latin America, and in the regional programs "Alliances for Democracy and Development with Latin America" (ADELA) and "Environmental Security Network in Latin America," both by KAS. She was a research assistant at the Center for the Study of Contemporary Culture (CEDEC) from 2002 to 2008, being a CNPq and FAPESP scholarship holder.She has extensive participation in national media with analyses on Latin America, International Organizations, and International Relations, with notable appearances on TV Cultura, CBN, TV Globo, CNN, TV Band, TV Record, TV Gazeta, REDE TV, SBT, Rádio Eldorado, Folha de São Paulo, My NEWS, GGN, among others. She also has experience in providing analyses to international media such as The New York Sun (USA), Asharq (SA), CABLENOTICIAS (COL), among others.She has experience in developing academic projects in the field of International Politics and International Relations, mainly focusing on the following topics: Regional Integration, Latin America, Mercosur, Economic Blocs, Regional Parliaments, and Theories of Regional Integration.
