I have a degree in Music from the University of Brasília (1985), a master's degree in Music from the University of Music and Fine Arts in Tokyo (1992), and a PhD in Communication Sciences from the University of São Paulo (2000), with emphasis on ethnomusicology. Currently, I am an associate professor at the University of Brasília. My expertise is in the Arts field, with emphasis on Musical Composition, focusing mainly on the following themes: music and interface, musical composition, and quantum music. I was a tutor for the PET Connection of Oppressed Music program from 2010 to 2023. Currently, I am the Director of the Science, Art, Philosophy, and Spirituality Center for Multidisciplinary Advanced Studies at the University of Brasília and the Director of the Multidisciplinary Advanced Studies Center at the University of Brasília.
